Mourn for Blood Ivory

I don't know how I suppose to be react about these issues. I just gasp, knowing that massive slaughter happened to packs of elephant. I right away bought Nat Geo magz yesterday because of the main issue was Blood Ivory. The elephant life has effected me in my life beside lion or cats. They have been my favorite creatures since I was a kid.

Blood ivory issue became news watch along last month. Just type 'blood ivory' in your browser, there would be many articles about ivory smuggler, ivory worship, brutal elephat slaughter, and those articles pointed to Africa as the target slaughter, then Philipine, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Brazil, and Hongkong as the largest market of ivories.

Nat Geo magz said that in Januari 2012, about hundreds of riding hunters enters National Park in Camerun and slaughter hundreds of elephant with AK-47 and rocket granades. Can you imagine how chaotic it was? Not just elephants are captivated, also others animal whom protected their child or their pack.

Bryan Chisty discovers how religion plays a role in the problem of ivory trafficking. Those ivories are made as craft, statue, gift of Buddha, Yesus, or Santo. Bryan interview Monsignor Gracia in Phillipine as the religious ivory icons collector who said, "I do not see elephant, I see God". The pathetic is the fraters, monks, know certain ways to smuggle ivory to our country, know good crafters and make fake documents  about the date of the craft are made, will stample before restriction of ivory trafficking are annouced. This way certainly illegal, but how come these "holy people" could act something forbid like that?

I just sad see tens of slaughter elephat pics. Do you know that elephant is one of the smartest animal in the world? They shade tears when their family, or friends die. Even they find one of another elephant family or pack die, they will stay a while and mourn for the dead, do some mourn-ritual. If somebody is injure, the other will slow down their migration, so the family keep together. Some of people have them as a pet in Thailand, the elephant would protect you until they die, maybe you have already hear many sad stories from Thai about The elephant and their master.

I have a engraving pendant ivory from my grandma. She gave me when I was 13th. Believe it or not, I put that pendant in a box with a paper said "Sorry for the brutal slaughter you've been sustained" from Me and Grandma, then bury it in my backyard.
